In the summer of 1994, young Lubbock lifeguard Bud Garza trades in poolside perks for an interesting gig as a tour guide at South Plains Cellars winery. Yet what begins as a chance to earn some extra cash and gain experience soon entangles him in an investigation into the disappearance of an El Paso DEA agent, last seen tracking a suspicious tanker near the winery. When Agent Brian Harris pulls Bud in to help with the case, Bud must use his wits—and his photographic memory—to uncover a dark secret inside the winery's walls.
